Raquel Costa

“I’ve got involved in PrimCog in 2015, with the purpose of studying personality in the capuchin monkeys living in Lagos’ Zoo. Our study presents a new approach to the research of Personality in primate. It also aims to develop Primatology in Portugal, introducing a much need working group to help young researchers and students to develop their research and share ideas.”

Scientific interests: I am currently assessing the impact of Ecotourism in mountain gorillas behaviour in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. This project is a collaboration between Kyoto University and the local ONG, Conservation Through Public Health.
